Comfiguring Outlook Express to read the cavo.com newsgroups
- Open Outlook Express
- Choose Tools | Accounts menu item.
- Click on Add
- Choose News...
- Provide your name and email address.
- When the wizard prompts for the News Server (NNTP server) type in "news1.cavo.com" or "news2.cavo.com" and check the check box "My news server requires me to log on"
- Next you will be asked for Account name and password. These are your Account name and password from support.cavo.com. It is not necessary to check "Log on using SPA"
- Finish filling info then Click Finish.
- Outlook Express pops up a dialog box that says, "Would you like to download newsgroups from the news server your just added?" Choose Yes.
- You will then need to subscribe to the various public news group you wish to access by high lighting the news group and pushing the subscribe button.
